Kunstprojekt Muttertag in einer alten Tankstelle im Ostend 1992 --- muttertag03

Former gas station, first off-space in Frankfurt Eastend. An empty Gas station squatted by a group of Frankfurt and Offenbach art students, who called themselves "Muttertag" (after a famous horror movie).

Artists involved: Ruth Spitzer, Mirjam Fischer, Gabriele Müller, Annette Gloser, Jörg Rees, Florian Lumeau, Dirk Paschke, Hayko Spittel, Michael Frankenthal, Bernd Eichhorn.

Time of Operation
August 1991 - March 1992

Abandoned since
April 1992

Fate
destroyed in Sept. 1992, whole area will become upper class living area.

Im Hintergrund rechts sieht man noch die Raiffeisen Halle (mit dem Runddach). Spätestens 1993 abgerissen.
