Thing Frankfurt

There's a tiny lake amidst the idustrial area of Frankfurt east harbour. And there's a bar with a splendid view. Simple dishes (sausages) are served, too. Hot parties from time to time.

Soziokulturelles Zentrum. Ursprünglich 2008 aus einem besetzten Jugendzentrum in Bockenheim hervorgegangen. Februar 2009 umgezogen ins ehemalige Gefängnis Klapperfeldstraße 5, 60313 Frankfurt

A political project with origins from a squatted place in Bockenheim. By 2010 they are situated in a former prison and manage it as a sort of cultural center. With poetry reading, discussion groups and even noise concerts.

A charming shack next to Hafen2 in Offenbach. Run by Öztürk sisters during summer time. Find a little bar with tea and cake, drinks and snacks. Plus artists' books, magazines and craftworks. Nice hangout for the afternoon.
